Very weird: I did the following steps: cd ~ mkdir .Trash chmod 700 .Trash and restarted gdm. And suddenly the trash worked fine, but the folder has disapeared again. Recreating the folder results in an Trash always marked full (in nautilus and the applet) but nothing visible (or invisble - yes
