As Laney mentoned Shipping upower 0.99 only for GNOME would be a lot of
work. I have however managed to untangle the gnome-desktop transition
from upower, so we can now land that without upower 0.99, in which case
landing upower transition as soon a V opens should probably be ok.

when running under gnome-desktop 3.8.
gnome-panel provides its own dialogs, however seems they are only used when

Fresh install, add a mail account and nothing happens after. Calendars

The patch that introduces UOA support in shotwell, needs to be tweaked
to fallback to the upstream behaviour if UOA is not installed. We have
no intention of shipping a seperate shotwell build.
Also adding a depend on UOA pulls in pretty much the entire unity-
control-center stack, so clearly

ubuntu-drivers-common, however the gpu-manager task does not currently
run under gdm. Do you get a autogenerated xorg.conf if you edit
/etc/init/gpu-manager.conf
to include an
'or starting gdm'

GOA 3.10 added a chat provider, without this patch g-c-c will crash when
clicking on add online account

Mantas, this package is on ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3 trusty PPA. It is
probably also could be a candidate for trusty-backports if someone files
a request via the instructions at:

Both trusty and utopic are currently stuck on gnome-desktop 3.8, which

Mantas, its quite a complicated update, that is blocked on a number of

should be built with tracker support
for Utopic there is a MIR awaiting approval for tracker (LP: #1313996),

Hi,
Recent I got a HP bluetooth keyboard which has the exactly same issue,
after some analysis it's a problem between the dbus interface with
gnome-bluetooth and bluez agent,
and I've backport some commits from bluez5 and fix some issues in
gnome-bluetooth,
Can anyone who has this keyboard

Leo this will cause regressions, particularly for users of the high
contrast theme.
The overrides should be only applied to Radiance/Ambiance so you should
check that in addition to XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP.
Or if you can make the actual Radiance/Ambiance themes behave properly
then this patch can
