Binary package hint: totem-mozilla
If you install totem-xine, embedded streaming video doesn't work! I
then installed totem-gstreamer, and it worked again. But dvd playing
was more important to me, so I installed totem-xine. What happens when
I try to play video is 1.
Seems not to affect Intrepid beta.

I have done more testing and concluded these things:
1. This affects ALL USB microphones
2.The error is caused by having no default mixer for the device (pulled from an
old version of wine)
I do not know how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. This
microphone also doesn't work with

Sound recorder does not start with the message Your audio capture
settings are invalid. Please correct them in the Multimedia settings.
whenever you have a usb mike set as the default. I have tested this on
three computers with two usb mikes.
Affects the preview in Intrepid 8.10 amd64 and gnome 2.23.4. Does not
affect the actual screen-saver from showing up properly.

I have the same type of cd burner and I have the same problem. A blank
cd appears as CD-ROM Disk. This is a problem with Ubuntu, not the
drive. I will be glad to help.
