[Bug 197762] Re: file transfers on USB flash key (pendrive) are slowing down with time
@Przemysław Kulczycki: It's not because your usb hard drive is working fine that it's the same for others (in my case my LACIE 3.5 160Go is slowing down). And with more than 200 comments, we can see that everyone has the same symptoms but different causes. This bug report is not usefull anymore due to its life time and the quantity of reports. It seems a low level issue, lower than cp and move commands. Maybe a Kernel or Kernel compilation issue? -- file transfers on USB flash key (pendrive) are slowing down with time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197762 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 497567] [NEW] Cannot play an audio file when a subtitle is loaded
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem After seeing a movie with a .srt subtitle auto-loaded on opening, if I try to open an audio file without closing the current totem window then totem said that it is not able to use text to play this file. I think that a release loaded subtitle operation is missing somewhere. ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot play an audio file when a subtitle is loaded https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/497567 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 441396] Re: Totem hangs while loading a video with .srt (or .txt in MicroDVD format) sub from nautilus
I agree with you Sebastien! Just in reply to your previous comment, a patch is attached to gnome- bugs #600479. This bug is RESOLVED and FIXED. I don't understand why the bug watcher didn't seen it. Maybe Fortunato Ventre could attach it's adapted upstream patch. -- Totem hangs while loading a video with .srt (or .txt in MicroDVD format) sub from nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/441396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 69867] Re: Wrong DragDrop for Places in Nautilus, F9 Panel
If you mean how to reproduce, just add a few places by dragging folders to the places panel. Next, just delete the folders (not the places). You can still click on places but nothing happened (because folders do not exist anymore) Now, if you try to change places position in the panel the result will be wrong, you have to remove invalid places from the panel by editing places (CTRL+B) to have a correct result. -- Wrong DragDrop for Places in Nautilus, F9 Panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/69867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 69867] Re: Wrong DragDrop for Places in Nautilus, F9 Panel
Ok I know why there is this bug, when you edit (CTRL+B) places you can see some of them that are no more valid (folder deleted by example). But due to these bad places the move of places to change their order is invalid. If you delete them, it works perfectly. ** Attachment added: Reproduced bug http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12529641/capture-places.ogg -- Wrong DragDrop for Places in Nautilus, F9 Panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/69867 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 69867] Re: Wrong DragDrop for Goto link in F9 Panel
My version is Edgy (with last updates from official repositories) upgraded from Dapper. You're right, the name is the places sidebar that appear in Nautilus with F9. This bug doesn't appear in a save/file/import dialog where places are here too. ** Summary changed: - Wrong DragDrop for Goto link in F9 Panel + Wrong DragDrop for Places in Nautilus, F9 Panel ** Description changed: - If I have a list of goto link (sorry for the translation, I don't know - the english name) like this + If I have a list of places like this mylink1 mylink2 mylink3 mylink4 mylink5 and I tried to move mylink4 between mylink1 and mylink2 with a drag and drop, the result is: mylink3 mylink1 mylink2 mylink4 mylink5 and finaly we have moved mylink3 above mylink1 !!!
