[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.
Fresh 22.04, at first gnome tweaks helped, but then I changed Settings / Keyboard / Switch input source individually for each window And now even gnome tweaks doesn't work anymore. Changing back to "Use the same source for all windows" also doesn't help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1218322 Title: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc. To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1218322/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1897464] [NEW] Problmes with disk size with zfs
Public bug reported: I created a VM that has 64GB of hard drive space and I used zfs during install. Now here is what I see via desktop GUI: Disks => 69 GB Computer => 23.6 GB Two pools: zpool list NAMESIZE ALLOC FREE CKPOINT EXPANDSZ FRAGCAP DEDUPHEALTH ALTROOT bpool 1.88G 427M 1.46G- - 0%22% 1.00xONLINE - rpool59G 38.7G 20.3G- -36%65% 1.00xONLINE - As a result I run out of space. I restarted my computer 3 time.I launched FF and the top command. The home page of FF is https://www.bing.com/?cc=be. I opened a second tab with maps.google.com. Everything was find. I lauched system monitor and then, the CPU of one core jumped to 100 %, even after closing the maps.google.com tab (see screenshot). When I'm in system monitor, the tab Ressources take 100 % of 1 CPU. If I switch to the tab Processes and change the ordering of the list, it goes down. [Bug 432814] Re: Touchpad: Action for middle and right click is reversed since jaunty
There must have been a misunderstanding here. I’m not going to support my patches on GNOME 3. In fact, they are not needed there, as there is the hook framework. In GNOME, they decided that it is more appropriate to provide a hook that will run a user-customizable script when an input device is added or removed. [Bug 602175] Re: glib-compile-schemas trigger not run after installation GCalctool
For me, the workaround command fails with: No such schema `org.gnome.Empathy.conversation' specified in override file `/usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ubuntu-artwork.gschema.override' This is probably because I had uninstalled empathy before. When I remove empathy again, the trigger runs and fails with the same message. And then users who started using Ubuntu during the Karmic era will file a bug that Lucid changed the defaults and broke their habits, just as we are blaming Karmic here. Alvaro Kuolas wrote: This is only a Debian/Ubuntu patch that causes so much trouble? No, what causes the trouble is upstream development in GNOME. === In fact, I am not fully content with my patch, for two reasons. First and foremost, the Synaptics tap-to-button mapping is only updated whenever gconf settings change for button assignments, the master tap- to-click on/off switch, or the left/right-handed switch. The right thing to do would be to watch for every DeviceMappingNotify on every input device, so that if the user remaps buttons via e.g. xinput, taps continue working without the user having to go disable/re-enable them. I have not yet managed to get that working, and that is going to be a large change that is better off in the next development phase. Second, Ubuntu includes corner taps in the definition of tap-to-click, as opposed to GNOME who don’t. This means that in Ubuntu the corner-to- button mapping needs similar treatment — for device button mapping and for customization.
