Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution I'm running Evolution 2.12.1-0ubuntu1 on Linux Mint Darnya, which is built on Gutsy. When I exit and then re-start Evolution, it does not remember where its window was located on exit. Also (don't know if it's related), I have both a top and a

Mint Darnya runs Compiz-Fusion, which is at the heart of some of the issue, I suspect. By turning off some of the effects (changing to 1x3 workspaces instead of 2x2), I was able to eliminate the behind-the-top- menu-bar issue. Evo always opening in the same place, rather than where I moved Evo to
