Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
Since I started running Maverick when I attempt to suspend my computer
it doesn't always work. What happens is I press my power which is set to
initiate standby and the computer suspends and within a half second
kicks back on and I'm

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
I'm using Maverick x64 and in this release when I pause a video in Totem
sometimes playback begins several minutes or seconds back in the video.
The time jumped is inconsistent and has on occasion goes right back to
the beginning. I've tested with
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When using list view if I expand a directory that contains only files
begging with a period, the folder view hangs until I try something else.
At some point later Nautilus will fully crash and quit.

I attempted to do as requested but it didn't work. When I recreate the
issue as described above gdb says the program exited normally.

Martijn_Hoekstra I'll try. The problem is I don't know the exact steps
that prompt a crash, repeatability is an issue. It typically happens if
I'm browsing a few folders at a time. If I expand a folder as described
above then leave it and start moving files in other windows it sometimes
happens.
The above steps recreated the bug for me. No crashes from it in a while
but I haven't been doing as many file operations. If it happens again
I'll get all of the info I can.

Nautilus Hangs When You Attempt To Expand A Directory Containing Only Hidden
Items
I would like to add that it would be nice if there were a setting for
users like me that optionally displayed Contains Hidden Files instead
of Empty. On more than one occasion I've deleted directories falsely
assuming they were empty when in reality I had files hidden. My own
fault I know but that
It used to happen every time I hit pause and now it only happens
occasionally. Mostly now I get a black line down the left side. It could
be compiz related as I do have it enabled but the line only occurs in
Totem.

pausing a video in totem blanks picture

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: totem
I'm running a fully up to date install of Lucid Alpha 3 and when I pause
a video in the totem media player the picture goes blank. I've never had
a/this problem with totem before. If it's not a bug, it's a poor
feature. Sometimes people need to

Public bug reported:
If you open a folder and change the view from list to icons and then
hold CTRL and zoom in, the size of the icons on the desktop change as
well. Zooming in while using the list view does not affect the desktop
icon sizes. To me this is a bug and not desirable behavior but if
I use Gnome and have observed the issue on Ubuntu 18.04 and 18.10
(possibly affected earlier versions too but don't remember 100%). My
monitors are side by side with my secondary monitor to the right of my
primary. I have an ASUS nVidia GTX 760. The primary display uses HDMI

That's probably it. My primary is 1920x1080 and my secondary is
1280x1024. I just took two windows and manually placed them and at their
smallest width they overlap. At least I know why this is happening now.
Thanks.
