I have downgraded gnome-terminal-data and gnome-terminal to
2.14.2-0ubuntu1 and the problem seems to be resolved.

when Random is selected, clicking a Settings button should bring up a
box to specifically allow you to choose which screensavers you want.
About the screensaver-settings.readme file: in the Linux-UNIX world,
I forgot to ask: What is the license of this software? If you are not
sure, please use GPL.
