I seem to have the same issue as before with my R52 after the update.
Still beeps and displays message of failed suspend.

Suspends that are longer than 6 hours will inexplicably claim to fail, but not

I believe I'm having this issue in Intrepid as well. I cannot connect to
a password protected share using gvfs-mount from either the command line
or via nautilus, but I am able to using smbmount. I can connect through
gvfs-mount if it is not password protected. This was not an issue in
Hardy.

I too have been getting the loud beep and Suspend Problem error since
a clean install of Hardy Beta on my Thinkpad R52. I'm running the fglrx
driver, no compiz, laptop_mode enabled, and on AC power. The
suspend/resume seems to work fine and this only happens after being
suspend for greater than

I switched back to the open source radeon driver and continue to have
the same suspend problem. I did notice that when I logged out and
suspended using the gdm login option, I did not get the usual beep and
message this morning. Although I don't know a lot about the structure of
the suspend
Also an issue on my AAO. I haven't tried removing above mentioned
patches. If someone posts them or a modified deb, I could have a go at
it. Thanks.

Brightness control is slow and not costant with
90-Add-guarded-brightness-stepping-functions.patch
Well I tried installing some older versions (gnome-power-
manager_2.24.2-2ubuntu4 and gnome-power-manager_2.24.2-2ubuntu5) that
should have been released prior to the patches in question. This didn't
seem to change the brightness indicator's step number. I'm not sure if
this was a valid test. If
I think so. I ran killall gnome-power-manager gnome-power-manager...
That should have done it right? With v4 it switched back to old style meter
and v5 had new style.

I'm still having the same issue in Jaunty. I'm trying to connect to a
password protected folder on a Simpleshare 250 NAS and I'm getting the
following error:
Error mounting location: Failed to mount Windows share
This is repeatable using gvfs-mount smb://server/share.
However, the following
Should that be /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd -r ?
Also, which log do you want?

If I run the commands in separate terminals, there is no output in the
gvfsd -r terminal and the same error in the gvfs-mount terminal.

This is what smbmount gives, and it mounts fine.
b...@aao-lin:~$ sudo smbmount //192.168.1.101/name_of_shared_folder
/mnt/netfolder --verbose
