totem crashes my ubuntu 8.10 and sometimes the xdisplay manager

Totem crashes after video finishes on full screen
Confirmed, Totem Movie Player 2.26.1, (GStreamer 0.10.22). When crash,
it looks like I'm logging out from X Window, but there's no Login
prompt, instead it's a blank black screen without anything, so my only
way is to hard reboot.

I think I got something that might help. When in full screen, though the
movie plays. When I move my mouse, the movie become slow, and when I
click Leave Fullscreen, sometimes the bug happen, sometimes not. Also,
when I say it looks like logging out from X Window, that's because I can
see message
I think this would fix the problem:
