I have no file in the /var/crash directory.
The only trace I could find, except the 3 attached files previously
sent, is a series of logs in the /var/log directory, in message,
kern.log and syslog. As the bug occurs very often, I have a series of
similar logs at different times, looking like this

I have the same problem with evince that does not allow to print in BW or
grayscale.
It is not a problem of printer driver nor cups configuration (for example,
grayscale printing from Open Office or Firefox works fine ; you just have to
choose your printing parameters in the
