In Ubuntu Maverick TrueCrypt mount works optimally.
When a container is mounted with TrueCrypt it appears as a new drive in
Places, called truecrypt1 or truecrypt7, etc., as per the number of slot
one chooses to mount the container.
It also appears in the desktop as a new drive with

This bug for which the first time after start-up that one drags and
drops a folder from the desktop to the personal folder it copies itself
instead just moving it, it still happens even with the desktop effects
disabled.

The bug for which if one drags and drops a desktop folder into the

Changing the cursor theme only works if you disable the desktop effects.
Other problem relating desktop effects, it was trying to view full-
screen videos (but it is also works Ok without desktop effects).

Something very similar happens to me.
Drag and drop a folder from desktop to personal folder not moves it (cut
and copy) but makes a copy of it and the initial folder remains at the
desktop (copy and paste).

Just to comment you that I went back to Ubuntu 9.04.
Again, everything was going just fine until a security update has
arrived, with new kernel 2.6.28-14, linux-restricted-modules-generic -
2.6.28.11.14, etc. And once restarting, the same quoted black screen

I am writing this by using the Ubuntu 9.10 Alpha 2 liveCD.
