I can reproduce the same issue with Python and Node interpreters. I
think the problem is related to readline, because the issue only affects
the line where the cursor is, and if I launch Python without it (gnome-
terminal -- python3 -I), I can't reproduce the issue.

+ When entering the lock-screen mode, gnome-shell disables all the extensions.
It can happen that under certain conditions ubuntu-dock re-enables itself,
causing the ubuntu-dock to appear in the lock-screen, exposing sensitive
information. One possible way to
gnome-shell --replace works fine now. I don't have a multi-monitor setup
to complete the verification so I will keep the relevant tags.
