[Bug 683610] Re: If pausing before entering fullscreen, the movie goes blank

2011-11-21 Thread Ahmed Shams
Thanks for reporting it, Actually I thought it happens to me only :)
I've experienced it with 'Totem' plus, even in fullscreen if I move the cursor
the bars from top and bottom will move inside then outside, after moving
outside it leaves blank shadows and it doesn't clear until un-fullscreen then
fullscreen again. The only way to avoid this was by Un-installing then
installing it again, anybody tried this with banshee or it's just totem.

Hello Roman,
Thank you for reporting this bug, your attention to detail is appreciated. I'm
sorry for your suffering with this bug. Would you please explain more, what you
mean with change text encoding from editor's menu? AFAIk, gEdit does it from
a menu on the bottom bar(Kindly see attached screenshot), so, you request to
make it possible through the File menu (for example) so you can reach it with
a shortcut key, or what?

2011-10-23 Thread Ahmed Shams
Hello Roman,
Yeah I forgot to upload the attachment :D, Sorry.
I don't think there's something evil in requesting a feature, that's how code
evolution happens after all :)
This bug is now upstream, but sorry I need to invalidate it in PaperCuts
project as it doesn't include feature requests however it's confirmed in gEdit
itself, but please feel free to file reports as a papercut when you see it's
necessary and I'll direct it to the right way, Regards.

[Bug 822081] Re: Nautilus: Arranging Items by 'Type', arranges them recursively by 'alphabetical' order of their extensions, not by grouping them first

2011-10-20 Thread Ahmed Shams
@Sebastien, Though it can be thought of as a non-bug, it causes a user to find
files in unexpected place on 'by-type' file sorting because Images are
generally of one type, Audio files too, hence comes the 'type group' sorting
instead of normal extension alphabetical sorting, that's what arranging by type
was originally made for, a normal user won't really care about extension's
spelling but rather will easily recognize the file category.
This requests to change the old arrange 'by type' method to 'by category'
method.

[Bug 120860] Re: Evince cannot select text in djvu documents

2011-08-11 Thread Ahmed Shams
Confirmed in One Hundred Paper Cuts project.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: evince

Evince does not appear to be able to select text in djvu documents, even
though djview can select text when viewing the same document.
+
+ Text extraction is implemented, but not selection rendering.
+ Evince is actually able to select and copy text, but the normal selection
rectangle is not displayed. infact, if you mimic the selection gesture on a
word, right-click - copy and paste it somewhere, it is actually pasted!
