[Bug 306596] Re: exif data removed from tif
I read at several places that reading and writing exif for tiff files in gimp is not implemented (yet). So, should this be a wish list item? -- exif data removed from tif https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/306596 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 306596] Re: exif data removed from tif
Sorry for the late reply. Attached is the file before.tif. Running 'exiftool -artist before.tif' results in : Artist : Alex I opened this image with gimp and without changing anything saved it as after.tif. [Bug 306596] [NEW] exif data removed from tif
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp Hi, After opening a tif-image file with exif information in gimp, editing the image, and saving the image as a tif-file, all exif data is lost. (With jpeg-files everything seems to be ok, strangely.) I'm using gimp 2.6.1-1ubuntu3 on ubuntu 8.10. [Bug 298148] Re: export to flickr always exports original version
Could it be that I was jumping to conclusions? Yesterday I read that the free Flickr account does not allow uploading of a file that is larger than 10 MB. It could be that uploading a crw file and uploading a too large file results in the same error by the Flickr plugin. If so, should this report be closed or may be changed to a wish for a more understandable error message? -- export to flickr always exports original version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298148 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 298148] Re: export to flickr always exports original version
Here's the log file. The error is Filesize is zero. I get the same error when I'm trying to upload a .crw file directly to flickr. Uploading a tif file (if the original file was a tif) works fine. Is there a problem with two different file types for two versions of the same photo? ** Attachment added: debug info http://launchpadlibrarian.net/19736033/f-spot-debug.txt -- export to flickr always exports original version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298148 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 298148] [NEW] export to flickr always exports original version
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: f-spot Hi, I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 and f-spot version 0.5.0.3-0ubuntu4. In f-spot I have a lot of raw (.crw) images. These images have extra versions that I converted to tiff. If I select a couple of images and choose 'export to flickr' then I see in the preview pane the edited (tiff) versions like I expected. But if I then click the export button, not the tiff versions are uploaded as I would expect, but the original raw version. (Of course, this fails...) [Bug 223400] Re: When right-clicking on a CR2 (Raw) image, I cannot open it in the Gimp
On my system it works again. [Bug 223400] Re: When right-clicking on a CR2 (Raw) image, I cannot open it in the Gimp
Same here with CRW-images: in Nautilus I get the options open with Gimp or F-Spot, but F-Spot claims there are no applications available to open my CRW-files (I only have gimp-ufraw installed, not the standalone ufraw). [Bug 179029] Override namespace not working correctly
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution Hi, My home directory on my imap server looks like this: Documents bla1 bla2 mail mailbox1 Mailfolder1 mailbox2 mailbox3 sent ... OtherDirectory ... When I override the namespace in e-mail clients like Thunderbird or Squirrelmail, then my mailfolders look like: INBOX mailbox1 Mailfolder1 mailbox2 mailbox3 sent ... Just like I expected and wanted it. In Evolution however, it looks like: INBOX mail mailbox1 Mailfolder1 mailbox2 mailbox3 sent ... I think this is not correct. This could be accomplished by only subscribing to the mail folders. The point of overriding the namespace, I think, is that this name will dissappear from the mail folder list, like in Thunderbird and Squirrelmail.
