If you'll insist I will give you some, but the problem seem to do nothing with the files. The way I deal with it is to select all the files in the USB disk at once and copy. of corse in 50% of my coping it crash at the end. it simply disapper and later I am asked if I'd like to send a bug report wich I did twice. It happens when I copy small amount of files and up to full 4GB so I think the number of files or thier size is not relevant to the problem. hopes this helps Amir On ב', 2008-02-25 at 20:12 +, Jacob Peddicord wrote: When you copy the files to the hard disk, do you get any crash dialogs at all, or does the copy dialog simply disappear? We need the crash report to come from the file manager itself to be able to obtain the proper information. Does the file eventually copy fine? If not, it is very possible that that portion of your USB drive is corrupted. If you think this may be the case, try copying it onto another computer to see if the problem occurs. Also, if the files are not private, could you provide the names of them and their file sizes? Re: [Bug 194813] Re: always at the end of copy. This bug is repeatable.
I do not agree. it crashed the window i was looking at the files as well. If I opened 2 windows (1 to show source 2 to show target ) It would crash them both Amir On ג', 2008-02-26 at 21:56 +, Jacob Peddicord wrote: If the files are copied fine, then the copying dialog may just be disappearing because the copy has finished, and the crash reports are unrelated. [Bug 155840] Re: UI for display brightness inconsistent
I can't reproduce it in Hardy Alpha 4 because the ui changed. Under the On Battery Power the above mentioned label is gone. There are some other options instead, but I am not sure if they are relevant to this bug or not. They don't seem to correspond to the mentioned label in On AC Power. -- UI for display brightness inconsistent https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155840 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
