Re: [Bug 424202] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc() when connecting to computer:///
I'm sorry. I have followed the instructions, but there is something wrong with the gpg signing, and the new packages just don't show up in synaptic Andrew Brown What I edit: www.guardian.co.uk/belief/ What I'm up to: www.thewormbook.com/helmintholog/ mobile: +44-(0)7968-945618 2009/9/16 Sebastien Bacher seb...@ubuntu.com The https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash wikipage has details on how to install those -- nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in g_slice_alloc() when connecting to computer:/// https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424202 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus This morning I noticed that nautilus on my laptop crashes when trying to access any remote file share, or the Computer destination or the wastebasket. This is repeatable every time, and it must have been caused by a recent update, since it was all working fine three days ago. I can still connect perfectly well to the network with ssh and so on. Nautilus opens and navigates my home folders fine; also the file system. Steps to repeat: Attempt to open computer or Network from the standard gnome places menu alternatively Attempt to open Wastebasket from with Nautilus Expected result: they open Actual result: Nautilus crashes with enclosed failure. What would be very helpful, while this bug is being chased, is if someone could tell me how to access the list of recent updates to the system, so I can try reverting. [Bug 280798] Re: gnome-display-properties dont allow me rotate screen rigth and left but xrandr works fine
The same problem here with an nvdia 5200 card. The manual xrandr command works fine. But the gnome preference panel only offers me the choice of being right way up and upside down. -- gnome-display-properties dont allow me rotate screen rigth and left but xrandr works fine https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
