[Bug 1883581] [NEW] Wrong conversion rate when "switch conversion units" at financial mode

2020-06-15 Thread Ant Somers
Public bug reported:

"Switch conversion units" button doesn't correctly convert from USD to
TRY.

Here is the example;

* Main currency USD and secondary is TRY
* 1000 submitted to the calculator
* It shows correct conversion at the right side ($1,000 = ₺6,831.57)
* Click "switch conversion units" button -> it shows 146.379306638 at the
calculator.

This bug also applies for vice versa.

My system locale is US English.

My system is up-to-date Ubuntu 20.04.

[Bug 1704765] Re: can't drag file from desktop to folder window on Artful

2018-09-07 Thread Ant Dickens
Ubuntu: 18:04LTS (14.15.0.33)
Session: Wayland

Drag and drop not working as expected.
Dragging from the Desktop to Nautilus does not work. Cursor turns into hand but
files not moved. Cursor stays as hand and selecting inputs in open applications
not possible. Restart required to correct.
Dragging files from Nautilus ~/home to the Desktop copies files and does not
move them.

Works fine in Xorg session.

[Bug 1756625] Re: gnome-calculator issues

2018-07-20 Thread Ant Somers
Similar problem with bionic. gnome-calculator suddenly stopped working.
here is the terminal log.

thiras@sagan:~$ gnome-calculator
/snap/gnome-calculator/180/bin/desktop-launch: line 23:
/home/thiras/.config/user-dirs.dirs: Permission denied
You need to connect this snap to the gnome platform snap.

You can do this with those commands:
snap install gnome-3-26-1604
snap connect gnome-calculator:gnome-3-26-1604 gnome-3-26-1604

(the '3-26-1604' number defines the platform version and might change)
