Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Using Nautilus search for file 'profiles.ini' in 'File System' (I think
this is root) does not find file. Same search in 'Home' directory does
not find file. If I search in '.mozilla-thunderbird' directory the file
is found. I have had other cases of this failure in the past when I am
searching for a file that I have no idea where it is so I search 'File
System' with no file found. I have 'show hidden files' on. I have had
this problem in previous releases on Ubuntu and Nautilus but never did
document it and assumed I was doing something wrong. I need to be able
to search the whole system sometimes. In experimenting I found Dolphin
will find the file, also finds copy of it in my backup file, Firefox and
trash which Nautilus did not find. So I don't think there is anything
wrong with the file.
