[Bug 50081] Unintuitive icon for deleting messages in Evolution

2006-08-02 Thread Boris de Laage
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork

With the Human icon theme, icon to delete message in Evolution is
unintuitive : it's like a 'forbidden' sign, which is very confusing
(delete ? spam ? stop transfer ?)... should be a trash can or something
like that.

** Affects: tango-icon-theme (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Low
 Assignee: Daniel Holbach
 Status: Fix Released

[Bug 46732] Re: Regression : strange behavior with NTFS volumes

2006-06-16 Thread Boris de Laage
They're NTFS volumes, not NFS shares. No difference when they're in /media or
in /mnt.
I'm using Dapper, updated all, from a fresh install.

Binary package hint: gnome-utils

gnome-system-log is useless because it truncates long lines, and doesn't
show any horizontal scrollbar.

** Affects: gnome-utils (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

[Bug 46732] Regression : strange behavior with NTFS volumes

2006-05-26 Thread Boris de Laage
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager

I have 2 NTFS partitions in fstab, everything was fine with ubuntu 5.10,
but now I have many problems :

- dbl-click on the volume icon doesn't open anything. The volume is
actually mounted, but I have to refresh the view first to see the icon
changed, and open/browse the volume.

- Once mounted, volume's icon used to appear on the desktop, in
places, in file-selectors in nautilus tree view. Now, volume isn't
shown.

- The Computer place shows icons for /, /home and filesystem. In
5.10, only filesystem was shown.

Here is my /etc/fstab :
/dev/hdb1 / ext3defaults,errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hdb5 noneswapsw 0 0
/dev/hda3 /home ext3defaults,errors=remount-ro,user_xattr
2/dev/hdc/media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/hdd/media/cdrom1 udf,iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/fd0/media/floppy0 autorw,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/hda1 /mnt/windowsntfsnoauto,user,umask=0222,nls=utf8 0
0/dev/hda5 /mnt/winusr ntfsnoauto,user,umask=0222,nls=utf8 0 0
