[Bug 1566359] Re: Date and Time conflict with Windows 8.1 dual boot with Ubuntu 16.04 Daily Build
One way to fix this is to open a terminal and run: timedatectl set-local-rtc 1 (no "sudo" needed) Previously, the Ubuntu installer would automatically configure itself to read/write the clock in local time if Windows was detected (dual-boot) by using that "UTC=no" in '/etc/default/rcS' method. [Bug 1304798] Re: Unable to access Facebook online account
I upgraded account-plugin-facebook to the version in saucy-proposed (13.10.20140414.2-0ubuntu1), and I confirm that this package fixes the bug. I can now add my Facebook account in Online Accounts. I also updated to saucy-proposed all other packages built from account-plugins that I had installed (found no problems): * libaccount-plugin-google * libaccount-plugin-generic-oauth * account-plugin-windows-live * account-plugin-twitter * account-plugin-google * account-plugin-flickr ** Tags removed: verification-needed ** Tags added: verification-done -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1304798 Title: Unable to access Facebook online account To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/account-plugins/+bug/1304798/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1282824] Re: Nautilus has problems mounting network locations when nautilus-open-terminal is installed
Thanks Scott! I hadn't noticed that spelling error. I have uninstalled the extension (and replaced it with a custom Nautilus Action), and I've also seen this problem happen. But it happens randomly. With the extension installed, it always happens on the 2nd time. I think I'll add nautilus as affected too. ** Also affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1282824 Title: Nautilus has problems mounting network locations when nautilus-open- terminal is installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1282824/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1262801] Re: eog hangs when the print dialog is closed
I installed the version 3.8.2-1ubuntu1.1 of eog from -proposed and tested it. I opened an image with eog, accessed the print dialog using all methods (menu, HUD, Ctrl+P) then closed it using several methods (cancel, close button, preview, print to file). Eog didn't hang and was still responsive and working. I tested all options in the preferences dialog, including the 3 plugins, and they all still work. I also tested several other options in the menus and didn't find any issue. Now, I'm the one who backported Lars Uebernickel's patch to Saucy, but I'm also the one who reported the bug and the only one marked as affected. ** Tags removed: verification-needed ** Tags added: verification-done -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1262801 Title: eog hangs when the print dialog is closed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/1262801/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1262801] Re: eog hangs when the print dialog is closed
It would be nice if this bug was fixed for Saucy, but the fix wasn't backported yet. I got eog's source code for Saucy (apt-get source eog) and applied the changes mentioned in the original patch here: https://bug721755 .bugzilla-attachments.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=265878 (the affected line numbers were different). The backported patch is attached. The patch seems to fix the bug for Saucy, but I don't know if it creates additional issues. I look forward to see this fixed in Saucy! Meanwhile, thanks to the author of the original patch, Lars Uebernickel! ** Patch added: Backported patch for Saucy https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/1262801/+attachment/3958212/+files/dont-call-gdkthreadsinit-saucy.patch -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to eog in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1262801 Title: eog hangs when the print dialog is closed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eog/+bug/1262801/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1262801] [NEW] eog hangs when the print dialog is closed
Public bug reported: When viewing an image in eog (the GNOME image viewer), if I open the Print dialog through the Image Print menu, eog will hang, and be grayed out, when the dialog is closed (by clicking Cancel, by clicking Preview, by pressing Esc, etc.). This bug also occurs in the Live DVD, at least when using Virtualbox. I'm using Saucy. Curiously, when the Print dialog is opened using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P, the bug doesn't occur, and eog continues to work fine after closing the dialog.
