I can confirm that this affects also Intel G965 and P35 chipsets whit
Lacie USB2 hard-drives. Almost allways the speed is 3-6 MB/s but
sometimes it works in full speed 30 MB/s.
I've attached a screenshot where I first transferred one file to the
usb2-drive with average speed over 30 MB/s and
I tried the gst-launch with different movies and it showed the same bugs
(lipsync, corrupted pixels). The command line reported this:
Asetetaan liukuhihna tilaan TAUOLLA...
Liukuhihna ESIRULLAUTUU...
Liukuhihna on ESIRULLATTU...

I can cofirm this. Did calculate 11+22+33+44+55+66+77+88+990 and the

Just noticed that when I copy+pasted 11+22+33+44+55+66+77+88+99 to the
unstreched calcultor, streched it and then pressed enter, the calculator
showed 0, not 495 as it should be.

The bug seems to happen every time I use the torrent client program
which came with Ubuntu. Otherwise the screensaver seems to work

I have the same problem still with Totem-Xine in Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10.
If the subtitles are enabled and the video is playing then the Totem

Yes, the problem exits still in Feisty. I haven't tried it again with
