[Bug 160684] Re: Notification area visual breakage
This also happens to me (32bit Gutsy). It seems to only happen with KDE applications. I've noticed it with KAlarm and Amarok. I can reproduce by right-clicking just to the left of the notification area to get the Panel context menu. -- Notification area visual breakage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 160684] Re: Notification area visual breakage
Though this bug doesn't impact functionality, it is an extremely visible flaw. I don't think it should be low priority. What does it say about an operating system when it can't even re-draw part of the screen properly? -- Notification area visual breakage https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160684 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 123495] Re: OpenOffice.org files do not open over SSH Gnome VFS share
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 41985 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41985 This bug has been around for a while, and I think it ought to be bumped up a notch in priority, and here's why... If it wasn't for this bug, I could recommend mapped gnomevfs-ssh folders as a simple file-sharing arrangement that would work well for most people most of the time. Setting up Samba can be complicated, especially if you want to give write access for specific people to specific folders, whereas mapping a gnomevfs-ssh connection is an incredibly simple, secure, and even elegant solution...if only it didn't crash Openoffice.
