You have the journalctl output first, when I disconnect the USB-C cable

I have the external display set as the main desktop with all the bars
(in case it helps to debug this)

Thanks.

[Bug 312396] Re: Nautilus opens files over SSH as read-only when not owner.

2009-04-28 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
I'm having this problem too. The permissions are correct, because I'm
able to drag drop a folder to the ssh remote location, however,
Nautilus doesn't allow me to do any action directly from its menus,
neither the thumbnails are generated for remote images (I have active
thumbnails for remote folders and with the needed size limit set, so
it's not a configuration issue).

What information is missing to get this bug fixed?

2009-03-20 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
This new gnome-terminal didn't change anything for me. However, I'm not
sure whether the cause is that the fix is incorrect, given that, for
some reason, when I move back from 10 to 13.333, this time all
applications are huge, not just gnome-terminal and thunderbird. You have
attached a firefox screenshot with the gnome-panel to see what I mean.

I tried restarting the system, just in case without luck.

[Bug 134598] Re: .pot file is not generated on build time

2007-08-25 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
I'm one of the Launchpad developers in charge of Launchpad Translations.

The fact that Glade-3 language files are not from Launchpad means that
they will not appear in language packs and thus, the application will be
untranslated in all languages. That's because glade-3 is in main and we
remove all translations to use the ones from Language packs.

Right now, in Gutsy you have glade-3 half translated because some
libraries provide translations, but the glade-3 specific strings are not
translated at all.

This works in Feisty because that package is in universe and the
translations are not removed.

Feisty translations are not yet imported in Rosetta. We are working on
it right now so it's normal that you don't have it there.

About who should generate the .pot file, is a task of the packager in
Ubuntu. There is a special rule to call on build time that all GNOME
packages do. As far as I know, danilo already talked with the maintainer
in Ubuntu that should do this.

Yes, we can do that, but you need first to migrate all translations from
'es_ES' to 'es' so no translations are lost.

After that, send me an email and I will request a removal of es_ES
pofiles.

Take into account that there are some situations, that the es_ES should
be there to handle things like numeric values or time values that are
specific for Spain and are not shared with other Spanish countries.
(Those are really bugs in applications, they should be using other
locale information to generate them, instead of mark them to be
translated).

[Bug 46730] Re: Description of Human Theme not translated in gnome-theme-manager

Dudes, we have Rosetta as the way to do translations for Ubuntu, don't
ask translators for patches because most of them don't even know (and
they don't need to know) how to generate those patches.

What should be done is to download the translations already done in
Rosetta and integrate them into the Human theme package.

You can get all translations from:

https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/dapper/+source/ubuntu-artwork/+pots
/ubuntu-artwork/+export

Cheers.

[Bug 46730] Re: The ubuntu-artwork translation template is not installed

2006-05-26 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
Those translations are not part of language packs, they need to be
integrated inside the package build, we cannot do it on run time

[Bug 31775] Re: Ubuntu should have better links to support options

2006-05-22 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
Found the problem and fixed Rosetta.

The i386 build generated a bad .pot file that was missing those strings
and thus, it hide them.

I just upload a fixed .pot file by hand and notified pitti about the
problem.

Cheers.

[Bug 35415] Re: This package is missing its .pot file

2006-04-07 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
I think cdbs has already a way to do this instead of adding your own code.
Check that with pitti, just to be sure you share as much code as possible.

Thank you!

[Bug 35403] Help .pot file is not being generated

2006-03-23 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
Public bug report changed:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35403

Comment:
Sorry, when I said language packs I would mean a kind of language pack
for documentation.

Do we have such thing?

Of course I can disable those .po files so we don't get them on usual
language packs.

What will happen with those translations?

Will they end as part of language packs?

They are to generate documentation translations

[Bug 35403] Help .pot file is not being generated

2006-03-17 Thread Carlos Perelló Marín
Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35403

Affects: gucharmap (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Hi, while processing dapper translations into Rosetta I detected that
this package has the help using .po files.

It's being common that GNOME packages use .pot/.po files to translate
documentation so we should handle it the same way we handle normal .pot
files.

Take a look at help/ for the Makefile that controls it.

Description:
i,

While importing Dapper translation into Rosetta I saw that this package
is missing its .pot file and only has .po files.

In order to be sure that we are providing latest version of the .pot
file we need that the packages update its .pot file.

Most GNOME packages do this on build time automatically, could you fix
this package to do the same?

Thak you.
