64 bit lucid (current as of datestamp to this message).
Open .jpeg image on desktop. maximize to fullscreen. Attempt to use the mouse
scroll to zoom.
Program becomes unresponsive and then crashes.
Same result when attempting to use the zoom icons in the menu bar.

aport information attached. The system monitor is supposed an
informational TOOL to report OTHER processes last I checked. If its
sucking the cpu down just by running, then its not a very good tool, now
is it? I completely disagree with the importance level that has been set

Just had to do a killall nautilus and then a restart of the process as
my system was becoming sluggish. sys mon was reporting nautilus using
well over 600 megabytes of resident memory. After the restart, nautilus
is back to 41 meg of resident memory.
