I just noticed that when I try to alt-tab to a window that's blinking in
the window list and that is on another workspace, nothing happens,
despite the fact that the window is included in the list. I assume this
is another side effect of the patch?

The other bug is also linked to the upstream bug. I also found that you can

The Sticky notes and Command line applets are no longer included in the
gnome-applets package (iirc because they were replaced by Tomboy and
Deskbar, respectively). They are still present in the package
description though, I think they should be removed there too.

Some of them recently started appearing after a restart, but others are
still missing after restarting it several times.

I see the same error; conctacs appear in the contacts list, but not when
sending mail, and autocomplete doesn't work either. This only seems to
be happening for my private adressbook, automatic contacs appear to stay
in sync.

I third this. In fact, there are a number of screensavers that without
additional configuration either don't display anything or only the logo
with some slight effect, very boring/ugly . It's not possible for mere
users

I see a lot of people getting confused by this, questions appear very
often in the support forums. While it's probably not possible to replace
it with a better dialog for Dapper, would it be possible to change the

I'm not sure the notification icon is a good idea. Some removable devices, like
cds or external harddrives, may be mounted for a long time, having them in the
notification area seems to clutter the notification area
