[Bug 787600] [NEW] Clicking a tab in the unactive pane doesn't switch panes
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus When using the extra pane, and trying to switch to the unactive pane, if you click the tab that was previously active before switching it wont switch back, in a way you could say that the active pane doesn't trigger an event that is included in the conditions to switch panes Reproducing: open nautilus, and open couple of tabs in each pane try to click the active tab in the unactive pane, the active pane wont switch Expected output, The pane should switch no matter what tab i click on the other side, i dont need to do 2 clicks ( click an unactive tab, then switch back to the tab i actually want, or that's how i do it ) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bitesize ** Tags added: bitesize -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/787600 Title: Clicking a tab in the unactive pane doesn't switch panes -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 410288] Re: Nautilus does not handle FTP timeouts well
ok i don't know if this has any relation with this or not, but for some reason SFTP works just fine with GVFS, though I used some other ftp clients before, they seemed to drop the connection after a while, but nautilus seems to keep the connection alive for a long time, if it's possible maybe you could some how check what's the difference and makes the problem disappear in the SFTP mode.. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410288 Title: Nautilus does not handle FTP timeouts well -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 528792] Re: No right-click menu on Notification Area panel item
I have the same issue, my maverick system is a fresh install, but i can't really remember if my computer originally had it or it started acting like that after a while, whenever i need to right click any item on the gnome-panel i didn't know that the double right clicks works, i used to go crazy on the right click button till i get it, but when i read this bug i noticed that it works but with a small delay, after doing a double right click the menu appears but after a small delay, but i have to say, after a few times it starts working with a single right click again, i don't know what's causing it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/528792 Title: No right-click menu on Notification Area panel item -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 589974] Re: 'Clear' right-click option is too close to 'Copy' and 'Select All'
it's easy to get the cleared text from the conversation history, i know it sucks but it's a temp method to get the text you just lost, i wish this would change soon though. -- 'Clear' right-click option is too close to 'Copy' and 'Select All' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/589974 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 410288] Re: Nautilus does not handle FTP timeouts well
I have the same problem but it's easy to just restart the connection from nautilus and then save the file again from gedit and every thing would be fine, i agree that it's annoying but i never got the 0byte file problem, i just refresh from nautilus twice then the connection is back up. And i don't think its a hard problem to fix either, just sending a 'NOOP' signal to the ftp server and let the user choose how often it would be sent shouldn't be that hard. ( that's just what i think, might be wrong though ) I add my vote for to the people who want this feature to be added. -- Nautilus does not handle FTP timeouts well https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/410288 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
