Public bug reported: gnome-appearance settings or control-center module missing for icon theme setting... there is no way to switch the theme other than using dconf-editor. On anther note, after changing themes and rebooting, the change does not hold and system reverts back to default theme. A VERY GOOD alternative for now, for me that is, is to use the battery-status applet as indicator to get a proper read on what's going on with my battery and on my cpu governor status... maybe we could just merge that as a replacement? the battery-status applet emulates the indicator status.. it isn't one... try using expo trough unity and look at the tray area with and without indicators.. you'll see what I mean.
