Re: [Bug 629258] Re: Battery life estimation never comes around

2011-06-26 Thread Cypher2
A VERY GOOD alternative for now, for me that is, is to use the
battery-status applet as indicator to get a proper read on what's going on
with my battery and on my cpu governor status...

maybe we could just merge that as a replacement?

 @Mohegan, Andy

The double reporting of battery status was already present before that.
It happens when the system resume from suspending, i opened a bug
 about that, bug #764055

2011-06-05 Thread Cypher2
the battery-status applet emulates the indicator status.. it isn't one...
try using expo trough unity and look at the tray area with and without
indicators.. you'll see what I mean. It's layered in .. not actually
integrated into the bar.

[Bug 691782] [NEW] gnome-applets-data needs mono icons for panel

2010-12-17 Thread Cypher2
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

visual consistency being the next step in making ubuntu THE best o-s OS.

one very big bugger is the lack of consistency within all icon sets
available throughout the system.

creating new, up to date, scalable and clean icons for everything that
has been overlooked is a must, starting by the gnome-panel and its
useful applets (hmm hmm, cpufreq...)

MAKE THEM ALL MONO

also, purging all old and obsolete xpm versions that are dragged with
the software package versions would be good.. thsoe are ugly and
unnecessary! (view /usr/share/pixmaps)
