Hmm. Your screenshot shows the program says "Media: Audio CD-ROM", so it obviously understands there's an audio CD in there. If they removed a dconf hidden setting, I think it's unlikely they will go out of their way to build it into the GUI, especially with the GNOME trend of removing configuration/options. You'll probably get the same answer if the bug is not considered a duplicate (i.e. "I don't think it's super useful to be able to customize everything in gedit.") BUT.. Note: I've done as much as I can here and I'm unsubscribing from this bug (because I'm tired of you wasting my time). In my opinion that this error required a bug fix and not a SRU. It's two different terms for the same thing when you're referring to a released version. But I forgot that evolution isn't an important task for the upcoming DELL 13G server If you think that Ubuntu focuses on servers at the expense of other users, then you're free to not use Ubuntu. In fact, it would probably make you happier to use another distro with a different release model, unless you just want to argue for the sake of arguing, in which case you should continue to be as venomous and sarcastic as possible, and see if that gets you anywhere. On the other hand someone can ask the question why you mark a bug as Fix Released, but you don't file a bug fix. Because that's Launchpad's/Ubuntu's definition of Fix Released even if you don't agree with it. Please clarify what program/browser you're using to view the videos 2) You're using an older/EOL version of Ubuntu (11.10) 3) Using the Flash plugin to view video takes a lot of CPU power and is known to overheat inadequately-cooled systems. I would try the gst-launch command using 'alsasink' instead of 'autoaudiosink' (make sure gstreamer0.10-alsa package is installed).
