WTF! I've opened Empathy and it shows all my Google talk's contacts, but I've not updated empathy nor telepathy-gabble. Could someone please confirm the bug has been already fixed? Maybe Google's developers had the error on their side, and have fixed it. Thanks! -- You received this bug

I don't think installing Telepathy is the way to solve the problem. This bug has been detected and reported in LTS version, and since it has been confirmed by many users (and seems to be a possible source for the bug), it should be fixed in LTS version. I've used Pidgin today and it still works
