it isnt a problem with the hardware. all systems are a go. it happened
durring the latest update. since then the media center wont upgrade and
i keep getting this error.

my problem isn't with sound as the thread link at the top suggests. my
sound is working fine as im not able to install the new gnome media
whatever and it gives me the broken pipe problem.

playing videos on full screen mode.
- Steps to reproduce:
- At login prompt change to gnome classic.
- Open a browser, go to youtube.com and select a video.
- Click the 'Full Screen'
Running ubuntu 12.04 64bit and I can confirm that the Alt+Tab
functionality is broken.
