I am working a lot with the terminal while being used to frequently use
the paste shortcut. Hence this is the most annoying bug I experienced so
far in Ubuntu. In my opinion the priority is nowhere near low, this
issue needs to be addressed asap!

It seems that in Evolution 2.30.3 or earlier this bug was fixed. At
least it works for me now.
Am I supposed to close this report somehow?

When I set up a new CalDAV calendar (in my case the birthday calendar of google
contacts), the URL is always truncated after the hash character. This also
happens if the # is encoded as %23.

I can't find a similar bug in GNOME's tracking system, so I will forward
