Hi, I can't reproduce that here using this web page as an example (using
epiphany 2.19.2-0ubuntu2). Does it happen to you on all web pages?

It's what I expected but the fact it doesn't update is a known bug.
If previously you had 16 seconds spare and 18 tracks, with a 2 second
gap enabled then it would require 34 seconds spare on the cd not 16.
As a workaround you can use ctrl + click to open tabs in a new tab, or
depending on your laptop press the touchpad with two fingers at the same
time while hovering over the link.

As Sage Massa said this is a permissions error. You can fix it by
running sudo rm -rf ~/.Trash/*
The fact that your trash can get in to the unemptyable state is bug
3868. Trash not being restorable is bug 14412
