Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rhythmbox will no longer play my mp3s after trying to play a song that I
deleted from my Music folder. I forgot to remove it from my list of
imported music, and when Rhythmbox tried to play it, nothing happened.
So I tried to just click on another song, expecting for Rhythmbox to
just move on and play the other file. Instead, I get the "unable to
start playback pipeline" error.
I tried using apt-get to remove and install rhythmbox, and this does not
correct the problem.
After repeated attempts, I'm still unable to get it to work.
I'm using version 9.10 Karmic Koala.
