I'm using Evolution 2.30.2 now with Ubuntu 10.04 (thanks to Jacob
Zimmerman for making this available via his repository). Unfortunately,
the notes fields still do not sync with Google Contacts.
Was the bug closed upstream without the problem with the Notes field
being fixed? Should this bug be
I suggest that a bug of the trash not working in an operating system
merits a label of more than low importance. A sophisticated user will
figure out how to empty the trash by browsing to it, but a newbie will
likely go back to Windows or Mac. It could be a deal-breaker for them.

fields.
