I am now experiencing this same problem. Its weird though cause it just
started happening. The Login screen will come up and it accepts the user
name and password that i put it. The login screen transitions to the
brownish screen and then just hangs there. I can restart X by Zapping
it.

closely and About Me still saves my input even when I tabbed between
fields.
Is there anymore information you can gives us about this bug?
How did you install Dapper? with the desktop cd?

The second half of your bug report has been confirmed also. It seems that if
the work address is empty and the home address is filled the values are
swapped.
