If you change Update interval in seconds for the resource graph using
direct keyboard input and click on Close - the change is not applied.
However, before you close if you click on other Tabs (for e.g., tab
File system - the changes are applied).  Also, if you choose the Up,
Down keys to change to update interval - the change is applied.

This can be reproduced by -
(1) Start system monitor
(2) Goto menu: Edit - Preferences
(3) Select tab Resources
(4) Use keyboard to change value from default to say... 10 
(5) click close

You will notice that the change is not yet applied.

If you repeat step 1 to 5 and instep 4, use mouse to click on Up or
down key to change settings (or, simply click on other tabs), the
change will be applied.

 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
