I use Ubuntu Intrepid 8.10, F-Spot version: 0.5.0.2-0ubuntu1.
Attached the debug log, I canceled the upload after 10 minutes of 'Waiting for
response 1 of 1' (via Flickr web page it took 30 seconds to upload).
