I am attaching inline the log section for a failed suspend try.
In brief, when I try to suspend, the computer goes down and then
immediately up.
A device (eth2?) seems to be failing to suspend.
Not sure if this is related to some problems this model (Lenovo Y500)
has with the wired connection

My laptop generally suspends without problems but sometimes wakes up

Ctrl+Alt+L is listed as the keybinding for Lock Screen. Also, Clicking

With Thunar file manager things are even faster:
~3500 files takes 0.5s
~2 files takes ~2s
This is ~15 times faster than Nautilus... and it makes a huge difference
in usability. Of course, Thunar lacks some of the great features of
Nautilus, but I can't see how things like a double pane

As far as I can see there are the next few options:
1) Create a standard subsets of Templates (5) including the common
Openoffice files and some other.
2) Let the programs copy their templates to the Templates directory
3) Utility to manage templates
4) Utility to mediate in template creation
For me this is a must. No invisibility means no empathy.
Any idea of a timeline or plan for solving the bug?

I have also sound problems, but in my case, the sound card is not
detected at all.
I used to get it working building the alsa unstable package from source
but since the elimination of the linux-restricted modules, it has been
impossible.

Being true that one size doesn't fit all, one size does fit a majority
of people.
A small number of most common filetypes will fit most users. At least
the non-experts. If you know that a template folder exists and what it
is for, probably you will personalize it anyway.
