Dunno if it is relevant, i am running ubuntu 20.04 set to german on a zfs rootfs installation with zsys. *** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1872796 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872796 Disabling 'desktop icons' from the extensions app did not work for me, but renaming the folder /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/desktop-icons@csoriano did the trick. The extension was already disabled. After folder renamed, login works quick again. [Bug 1571980] Re: Evince does not display PDF annotations
