Public bug reported:
Gnome software regularly seems to have problems with getting it's
updates or handle them properly.
It's not clearly reproducible, as sometimes it sems to work.
This time, the steps to get there were:
* open the gnome software app
* see some updates being offered
* click on
I have a thinkpad x1 extreme gen2.
I have a bit trouble to exactly understand what I could do with the

Maybe related - but I had this thunderbird issue, too, but not anymore

It was after I got the hints here to uninstall extensions, that I did
that, and only then got back to the wayland session.
I dont know why it should be, but it could also

I looked into some more things to get this solved.
While the Setting application says my power mode - the one it keeps
getting back too despizte I chose another is "balanced", looking into
the system it tells mie it's on powersafe:

This worked well with 21.04, but since the upgrade the gnome shell applet tp

I seem to have a similar problem, on saucy.
Should the fix for this problem be included in standard saucy, or do I
have to do something special to get it?
If the former, I might have a different, new problem.

Maybe I'm mixing this here with the things described here:
