[Bug 917108] Re: view == offline contacts option mostly dont work.

2012-10-07 Thread Igor Santos
Not sure if this can help, but I just noticed that changing the group of an
offline contact that shouldn't be appearing (caused by this bug) to another
group actually makes it disappear after being moved.
This also happens if one of those contacts are added to another group. They
vanish both in the new group and the old group.

[Bug 610131] Re: Facebook contacts cannot be added to groups

2012-10-07 Thread Igor Santos
Two years and still no decent reply about this problem?
I found that the most annoying thing on this bug report is that you CAN create
groups and you CAN add people to them, and empathy silently screw things up
when you restart it.
Why is not possible to save groups locally? I'm sure the data structure is not
coming from the Internet, but being created locally with remote data. Is it
that hard to simply save locally the assigned groups for Facebook contacts?

[Bug 1051449] Re: Contacts that go offline aren't hidden again

2012-10-04 Thread Igor Santos
Sorry, I've changed my OS into pure Ubuntu 12.04, but I'm still running
Mate. The video was taken under these conditions, not under Mint - what
means the bug is exactly the same under both distros.

** Description changed:

I've set empathy to hide offline contacts. Although, when someone that's
online go offline, the contact stay there, but as Offline. Changing
Hide offline contacts option doesn't affect this. They only vanish if
  I restart the app.

- I'm running Empathy 3.4.2.3 under Mint 13 with MATE 1.2.
+ I've tested Empathy 3.4.2.3 under Ubuntu 12.04 with Mate 1.4 and Mint 13
+ (which is based on Ubuntu 12.04) with MATE 1.2 .

[Bug 368381] [NEW] notification-properties don't change anything

2009-04-27 Thread Igor Santos
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: notification-daemon

Info:
Ubuntu 9.04
notification-daemon 0.4.0-0ubuntu4

I like the new Notification System, and I found at a changelog that there were
a small menu to configure the notifications.
I found it [notification-properties] hidden, at System Preferences. But it
doesn't work.
It opens a small window, with 2 options: theme and position... But when I
change something and I click Visualize or Close, nothing changes. The black
box keep on the same corner, with the same icons.
There's no error message, and it neither outputs something to the terminal. It
simply don't work.
the Visualize button works... It shows a example notification, always on the
left-top corner, that flashes when I press the button again (opening the
example again, I presume).

I would like to change it to another corner...
And, if it's possible [I don't know where do make a feature request or, well, I
don't know], it would be pretty good if it goes with my color scheme, like the
old balloon used to work. The box is always black, but my scheme now mixes
green and yellow, i.e.

thank you in advance.

[sorry if something is poorly translated, I'm using the pt_br
localization and I don't know the exact words in the english loc]
