I am encountering strange UI rendering glitches in various UI elements
in GTK 2 applications. Especially in menu item hover states.
I first encountered the issue in GIMP but found that it is also present
in tomboy-ng which is also using GTK 2.
See the attached screenshots.
Set the correct package to GTK+2.0

Hi i'm having this same problem when trying to connect to one of my sftp
locations, using Ubuntu 9.10 (up to date) and doing Places-Connect to
server
The server which is giving me the problem is running Solaris 9 and the
following version of SSH:
OpenSSH_3.1p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL
Clearly a but in openssh and not nautilus

Other Options is now grayed out, unable to change the settings.

Nautilus 2.28.1
Scenario: Trying to delete a file from a non-home partition.
Error:
Cannot move file to trash, do you want to delete immediately?
[Cancel] [Skip] [Delete]
I've been trying to solve this for almost 2 hours.
I cannot find anything in the documentations about this.
I followed
Update: Creating a .Trash at the root of the partition in question and
changing it's permission to 777 with a sticky bit solved the problem.
Still i suggest Ubuntu should prompt the user for the root password and
solve this, specially as this also affects removable media.

Files from non-home partitions don't show up in Nautilus Trash
I've installed python-louie and activated the plugin but it doesn't seem
to be finding the upnp shares on my network. Is the configuration
supposed to happen automagickally? I've checked gconf and the only value
listed under /apps/rhythmbox/plugins/upnp_coherence is active
(true/false).
