[Bug 2042724] [NEW] locking screen results in exit of session
Public bug reported: system installed with 22.04, upgraded to 23.04 and then to 23.10 today; whenever I lock the screen or the laptop suspends, I'm presented with the login screen to re-authenticate but my session is not maintained and all apps have been killed. Issue was not present on Lunar. This feels like this generally needs improving, with automatic mounting of hugepage FS for different pagesize options - so for example: /dev/hugepages1G /def/hugepages with appropriate apparmor changes as well for libvirt to allow access to common paths on Ubuntu systems. ** Also affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: libvirt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1643675 Title: hugepages for non-default pagesize need manual setup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1643675/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 426185] Re: Gnome-panel fails to load various applets
I started getting this problem shortly after upgrading to 9.10 from 9.04. At first, logging off and then back on seemed to do the trick. now, a killall gnome-panel is required to get it to work and, as mentioned above, there seems to be some issue with the weather applet. when the log on/off was working, the wx applet was displayed. now, going the killall route, no weather app and trying to install it does not work either. I have also tried to replace the gnome-panel via the SPM. -- Gnome-panel fails to load various applets https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/426185 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
