Public bug reported:
I had a running OpenVPN setup that one day "suddenly" failed to connect.
It took a while to figure out that the certificates I've been using had
expired.
Expected:
- An error message indicating that certificates expired.
Actual:
- Generic failure to connect error message.

Public bug reported:
When selecting your location, the city of Munich in Bavaria/Germany is
recognized as Munic - that is not the correct spelling in English.
Alternatively, the German international spelling would be Muenchen, and
the German spelling München.
This is mildly frustrating only

This is related to, but not the same as issue #868400 - specifically,
there are *not* two syndaemon instances running.

Public bug reported:
Presumably this is gnome-settings-daemon.
After upgrading from oneiric to precise, I found that my synaptics
touchpad was always registering clicks by tapping on the pad. If I
check the system settings, the Enable mouse clicks with touchpad
setting is *off*, however.
No, that does not fix it.

Sound plays back for a split second every time I unpause it, and then
goes mute. Video playback from the same share via totem works fine, so
probably not a networking-related problem.
The same machine played music just fine from the same share before
upgrading from oneiric to precise.

Right-click and open with GNOME Mplayer plays the same tracks just
fine FWIW.

Tentatively setting package to gnome-settings-daemon as #868400 has
that.

For what it's worth, also seeing this on a Lenovo W520, and none of the
solutions proposed here solve it for me.

Enjoy the log, it won't tell you anything the description hasn't told
you already. Just bump the priority up again, please; I didn't ask for
it to be downgraded.

@Doug, that sucks. It's the only player with a reasonably usable

I'd love to see the second pane remembered by default, too. I find
myself switching to the terminal every time I want to copy or move
files, because it's more comfortable for addressing multiple locations -
that simply *cannot* point to a good design choice for a graphical
browser.

After upgrading my Ubuntu to Oneiric, I can't seem to rip CDs to FLAC

it).

Hmm, found the proper place to file it; for some reason my previous
search didn't come up with the Launchpad umbrella project.
Consider this closed.
