I can confirm these steps in Lucid. It would appear selecting the NVidia device would make sense, but it results in this error message. What is odd is that if I set it as 'default' it will then go through the motions of 'recording' but when it's done I get an error and nothing is played back

Confirmed the workaround works on Karmic. If you access the share via 'guest' access it may require you to specify this when it requests the login details. I use user permissions and when entered the command asked for username, workgroup name and password, then mounted the drive (even though
