Bug or not, it is a problem - I use the fingerprint reader so that I don't have to type my password, but now I still have to type my password... it defeats the purpose of the fingerprint reader. Maybe it's an enhancement request: Make GNOME keyring work with PAM / libpam-thinkfinger or make it

Please update GIMP for Gutsy to version 2.4.2. 2.4.0rc3 is a *release candidate*, not a real release. A number of annoying bugs have been fixed since 2.4.0rc3, including some potential crashes. Those fixes are enough reason to update the Gutsy package. See this for fixed bugs since 2.4.0 final
