[Bug 468871] [NEW] No sound

2009-11-01 Thread Johan Walles
Public bug reported: I'm not getting any sound from the Karmic RC on ia32. At first I did get sound, but at a very low volume, and the pulseaudio daemon was using 100% of one of my cores. So I killed pulseaudio and restarted it. Now I'm not getting any sound at all. The pulseaudio daemon is

[Bug 49127] Re: Long file names are truncated without warning

2008-03-27 Thread Johan Walles
Note that the default CD burning application in Hardy is Brasero, and this isn't a problem in Brasero. So while nautilus-cd-burner is apparently still broken, one workaround for this would be to go with Brasero instead. -- Long file names are truncated without warning

This might have been fixed by upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=444503 http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/evolution-exchange?view=revisionrevision=1502 It's a really simple patch (move an if() clause a few lines) that should be easy to backport if this is deemed important enough. --
