I have seen this happen when I was doing some activities in a folder
with PDF's in it. A few PDF's seemed to have a thumbnail rendered and a
few others not. After closing Nautilus I got the crash report.

I think the history.png icon is missing which is being used in the theme.
There is a reference to this icon in:
