I installed and booted a 5.19.17 mainline kernel (from the ubuntu mainline
kernel archive) and the static started immediately.
I booted the 5.15.0-52-generic kernel left over from ubuntu 20.04 and haven't
had any problems with static or full screen video after 30 minut
Upon returning from an appointment the flickering has returned. The
fractional scaling setting must have been a coincidence.

Screen can't turn back on by clicking keyboard after screen off by meta + l key.
Try to do VT switch can make the screen back, some error poped when I try to
wake up screen.

1. Boot into Ubuntu Jammy
2. Connect to Wi-Fi 6GHz OWE network
3. Try to configure the network to static IP
4. Reboot, then the network is not able to active anymore

Last time I checked, "gdm_prefer_xorg" is still required in 61-gdm.rules
otherwise the issue still occurs.

This is still happening after upgrading to 21.10. The calendar reminder
I saw today and last night was canceled several weeks ago. When I looked
in the topbar calendar dropdown, the event did not appear there.
It's unclear to me if this is a gnome-shell issue or a gnome-calendar

For gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng on Hirsute:
1) Boot to a live Hirsute USB
2) Enable -proposed pocket and add universe to the repo
3) Upgrade gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng
4) Logout and login to restart gnome-shell
5) Use the touchscreen to double tap on "Home" and "Trash" icons
Ah, I didn't notice gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng is also in
the Hirsute. Let me verify it too.
